What kind of pearls do you use?
We use freshwater pearls, selected in-house and matched by luster, size and shape across each piece.
Can pearl pieces be worn in the ocean or a pool?
We recommend removing pearls before swimming. Salt water and chlorine both dull the nacre over time, and silk thread weakens when repeatedly wet and dried. Put pearls on last, after sunscreen and fragrance.
Will the silk thread need restringing?
Silk stretches with wear, particularly on pieces worn often. Our workshop restrings pearls and replaces the thread. Contact our client team to arrange it.
How should I store pearl jewelry?
Store pearls separately from diamond-set pieces so the harder stones do not mark the nacre, and avoid airtight containers, which dry the silk. A soft pouch inside the jewelry box is enough.
